Ok.. so I've never fought Rotscale.. maybe once or twice, but I don't remember much about him..
I'm looking to cap FoC(Feast of Corruption), so naturally, I check guildwiki. And I get this:

from what i recall he does have the boss aura so i dunno give it a try

It's not a boss. There are no cappable elites in Tyria until you get to the desert. Barring a run from Beacon's Perch of course.
